Hunting and fishing are the two main sports enjoyed by the locals, permits must be obtained but the catches can be quite surprising!. Other water sports are possible, boating, windsurfing, kyaking would make a great way to explore the various off shoots and inlets. Holiday makers tend to fly through missing the best bits in favour of the big attractions, which is great. |

| Blooming marvalous - full with colour the whole year round, this is the green fertile part of Portugal. With very short winters, spring seems to begin in february and Autumn doesn't give way to the cold untill mid december. Summer temperatures can sore to the high thirties but average at around a very comforable twenty seven degrees. Atlantic air streams maintain a temperate climate, frosts are rarely heard of and hot sticky nights don't ever unsettle a comfortable nights sleep. | ![]() |
